So I feel a bit embarrassed by this but I finally had to look up the lyrics because something wasn’t making sense to me.
For months, I’ve been singing, “Tell me tuna~ tell me tell me bayybehhh” not realizing what their obsession with tuna is about. Like maybe the songwriter had this unforgettable piece of sushi/sashimi and decided to write a whole song dedicated to it. I mean I would if I had a life changing experience with a piece of tuna. Totally on brand for me. Well apparently, the actual lyrics are, “Tell me tonight” which makes a LOT more sense. I was like ohhhhhhh okay, I see. Who would’ve thought! What a revelation. Idc though, I’m still going to continue singing tuna because it cracks me up. I’m just glad I know the actual lyrics now.
Hopefully it’s not just me and that I have hearing problems due to age or whatever and others can hear it too. Just thought that was funny. Idk what suddenly had me look up the lyrics but maybe I sang tuna enough times that I finally was like okay this can’t be right???
