So… I shared this vid with one of my friends recently and she’s like, “who dat” and I was like it’s Park Ji Yoon singing one of her most famous songs Steal Away:
First I was like omg… Park Ji Yoon looks sooooooooooo good!! That outfit is complete🔥! Make up is on point. Dress is totally gorgeous. Shoes are 🔥as well. Dat lipstick tho. And WTF? she’s 50?!? Da heck. What is South Korea feeding their women to have them look so good at that age? I need whatever she’s having. I also need whatever Yoon Eun Hye is having too. Maybe the Yoons just have some strange genetics that make them age so well. Wait, is Park Ji Yoon a Yoon or a Park? 🤔 I think Park since Korean surnames come first. I also know Eun Hye is a Yoon. I’m just going to guess anyone with a Yoon in their name got some good genetics going on 😏
Anyway, I apologize for I’ve terribly digressed.
I mentioned to my friend that it was funny because I came across another vid of Park Ji Yoon’s recently and she looked hella hippie at her concert:
Completely different vibe in this video. However, I still thought she looked great. I was just amazed with her wide range of looks lol.
My friend mentioned she’d prefer the hippie outfit. I was like what? Why? What’s wrong with this white form fitting dress? It’s sooooo gorgeous!! And she said because the first dress one looks like a work outfit. I was like, “a WORK outfit!? who TF dresses like that to work every day??? WTH???”
I guess because having worked in tech and being a designer slash web developer, while I didn’t exactly go to work looking ghetto all of the time, I did at least try to be somewhat business casual with a nicer shirt paired with some jeans. So I never really saw anyone around me dressed to that level, basically to the 10s, in presentation normally. And now? It’s t-shirts and cargos every day bayyybeeeeeeeeee!~ So I definitely DON’T even get to see that type of presentation anymore lol.
I guess it made sense to me that I’d find the “polished” look very appealing because I’m normally not dressed in such a way, so it’s incredibly eye-catching to me. I’m aware it takes a lot to present that way too — the time and patience needed to get that look just right, oh boy. I assume most people don’t wake up looking like that lol. I will say that if I need to clean up, I don’t mind doing so but it just takes more effort. And I do enjoy it from time to time. But… casual is usually what I feel most comfortable with and my preference.
So yeah, shocked me a bit to realize that my friend dresses, or used to dress, in such a way on a daily basis. I guess we live in very different worlds with different types of clientele lol. Extremely grateful that I went the artistic route so I could dress artistically as well hehehehehe 🤣
