When I was looking for a gift from an old friend, I came across a letter from my writing teacher, Rosemary Martino, and it completely warmed my heart. Her writing was so warm and affectionate and I could tell how much we meant to one another. She expressed her joy in watching me grow through the years and I just wish she knew how much she meant to me. I wasn’t the best with words as a young adult and often left much unsaid as I wasn’t even aware of what went on within me emotionally. Now that I’ve grown a bit through the years have a better idea, I am much better at expressing myself (thankfully!!).
